 Mighty 8th Air Force Veterans pose for a picture in front of B-17 with the famous 95th "B" on its tail. Noteworthy is in the third row, far left with his arm around Marshall Thixton is George Moffat (baseball hat on). Marshall and George were part of the first B-17 of the 482nd BG over Berlin on the March 4, 1944. Marshall was the Bombardier and George was the ball turret gunner. |
