 482nd BG, 813th BS Sgt. Robert F. Day visits B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" in Columbia, SC in 1996 at the age of 81. When asked by the B-17 piliot if he wanted to fly that day, Robert declined, saying he "had enough flight hours logged for a lifetime!" (Day family collection) |
